Desk 6, Adjustable Desk Design by Coil + Drift, Brooklyn

Simple, Elegant and Adjustable Desk Design from Reclaimed Wood.

Designed by Brooklyn based designer John Sorensen-Jolink, founder of Coil + Drift, Desk 6 offers a simple and elegant solution for those of us who like to stand and sit while working.

Desk 6 is comprised of reclaimed wood rafters, iron piping hand-cut in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and salvaged found wood.

Desk 6 is designed because it was found that there are very few aesthetically pleasing adjustable-height desks and Coil + Drift wanted to offer a sustainable option using reclaimed wood materials and simple, functional design.

Desk 6 is made woth the wood that sourced from reclaimed rafter-beams and varies for each pieces. It is hand-planed to be smooth enough to write on but retains its rustic character.

The desk can be easily set to a sitting or standing position by adding or removing (screwing or unscrewing) the lower component of each leg. No need choose between a standing or sitting desk.
